Privacy Policy

CSS MPT Prep 2027 is an independent exam-preparation app and website for CSS MPT practice. This app and website are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or operated by FPSC, the Government of Pakistan, or any public service commission. Information We Collect

The Android app stores quiz progress, selected answers, scores, and theme preferences locally on your device. The website may store quiz selections locally in your browser so your web practice progress can continue on the same device.

If you submit feedback from the app, we collect the message you write, an optional email address if you provide one, app context, and submission time. Feedback may be stored in Firebase Firestore so we can review and improve the app.

If you choose to sign in with Google, Firebase Authentication provides us with your account identifier and may provide your name, email address, and profile image. We use the account identifier to sync explanation-credit grants, your remaining credit balance, purchase-delivery identifiers, and the questions whose explanations you have unlocked through Firebase Firestore. Signing in is optional unless you choose to purchase credits.

When you buy a consumable credit bundle, Google Play processes the payment and provides the app with product and transaction information needed to deliver the credits and avoid delivering the same purchase twice. We do not receive or store your full payment-card details.

Analytics and Advertising

We use Firebase Analytics to understand general app usage, such as screen views and quiz activity. We use Google AdMob in the Android app and may use Google AdSense on the website to show ads. These services may collect device information, app or site interaction data, advertising identifiers, approximate location, diagnostics, and similar technical data according to Google's policies.

How We Use Information

  • To provide quiz practice, scoring, settings, and preparation features.
  • To deliver, sync, restore, and protect explanation credits and unlocked explanations.
  • To improve content, performance, and user experience.
  • To review feedback and respond if you include contact details.
  • To show ads and understand app or website usage through analytics.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Data may be processed by service providers used by the app or website, including Firebase Authentication, Firebase Firestore, Google Analytics for Firebase, Google Play Billing, Google AdMob, Google AdSense, and Firebase Hosting, as needed to operate and improve the service.

Data Retention

Local quiz progress remains on your device or browser until you reset it, clear browser data, or uninstall the app. A signed-in credit wallet remains in Firestore until you delete the synced account data. Feedback may be retained as long as needed to improve the app, handle support, prevent abuse, and maintain records. Google Play may retain transaction records under its own legal and accounting requirements.

Children

CSS MPT Prep 2027 is intended for CSS MPT candidates and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through feedback, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

Your Choices

You can reset quiz scores inside the app settings, clear website progress from your browser storage, avoid submitting optional personal information in feedback, and control advertising settings through your Android, browser, or Google account settings. You can sign out at any time. You can delete your Firebase account and synced credit data from the Explanation Credits screen, or follow the steps on our account deletion page.

Security

We use Firebase security rules and standard platform protections where applicable. However, no internet-based service can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when the app or website changes. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised date.
